Brace Cheque Presentation Feb 07Return to Past Events page
Jem Barnard, President of Bristol Northwest Rotaract, hands over a cheque for £624.52, to Dr Sian MacGowan, Chief Executive of a local based charity, BRACE. which funds research into Alzheimer’s, and provides respite for carers.

Bristol Northwest Rotaract is a social based club, that raises money for charity whilst having fun. The money for BRACE was raised in variety of ways including games nights, dvd nights, meals (in and out!), evening walks and also a charity auction of promises including members auctioning items like an hour of ironing, IT lessons, window cleaning and even a chemistry lesson!

Bristol Northwest Rotaract is always on the lookout for keen new members, and is about to hold a new members evening on Wednesday 25th April at the ‘Wellington’ pub on the Gloucester road (near the top of Muller Road) from 8pm onwards. If you are interested in the club, and would like to meet us, just turn up on the evening or call the club mobile on 07847 417653.
