Car Boot Sale Raises 55 for British Heart Foundation

It was an early start last Saturday (17th Jan) for the members of Bristol Rotaract and Rotaserv Clubs. Thankfully Rotaract Club President Simon Matheou had chosen a car boot sale that started later than some in Bristol!

An assortment of silk flowers, books, toys and ornaments were collected together by members over the last few months. In total over 55 was raised for the current Rotaract Charity; The British heart Foundation.

Club President Simon Matheou said, "It's amazing what a difference we can make by simply collecting unwanted items from around our homes. This is the second car boot sale we have done and we intend to make it a regular event with a yearly target of 400."
